It worked as advertised until the gel pack leaked. With normal use, nothing unusual has happened. I didn't even use it that much, I could use it for a few days when needed and then put it aside for months. I've only worn it about 20 or 30 times. Another issue when used hot is the way it wraps around my arm, which seems to put the most pressure on the side of my arm. When the compress is hot, that part of my arm gets hotter than the area I'm trying to treat and gets too hot, so I have to use it a little colder than I want, to the point where it can't help as much as possible.. I think I'll try a regular gel band with no special wrist fit (no thumb hole) so I have more flexibility when wrapping.
