Not what I need, maybe great for wrist pain

This might be a 5 star product for someone who just has wrist pain. The band and heat pack/ice looked good quality but can't comment on durability as I had to return them. I have tendinitis in both joints of my thumb and it was excruciating to get my thumb through the hole in this heavy bandage. Heat or cold also caused pain in the wrist bones.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Minor issues

Fits well. Relief time, no.

Well, the idea is good. Fits well. The problem is that it doesn't stay cold for long. If it's very cold outside, it might stay around you, but how often does that happen? I tried using it at work when my carpal tunnel was sore, but it only stayed cold for about 10-12 minutes. Twenty or thirty minutes would be much better. That's why I gave three stars. His cold duration is too short.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • communication with the seller

Not exactly like the picture

This product is well made with good strong ice packs which are a bit bulky but flex well if you leave them out of the freezer for about five minutes. However, they do not go into the wrist area as can be seen from the photo. I've included my own photo to show how high they go and also to warn you that if your wrist is sensitive in any way it's going to hurt like hell to wrap. I still loved her enough to keep her.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only available in white

Immediate Help: Braces, Splints, and Supports

As a graphic designer, I suffered from tendinitis for many years. I have bracelets on my wrists that I use when things go wrong. However, ThermaPAQ gave me instant relief from burning and aching wrists (both hands, so I bought two). It gets unwieldy when I'm still trying to create a design while wearing them, but after about 20 minutes the ice does the trick (albeit temporarily) and provides some symptom relief. Also removing the ice pack from the liner and using it as a soft bandage stillโ€ฆ

Good quality, generic product

This brace does exactly what the description says I am recovering from wrist surgery. TheraPAQ helps me with swelling and pain (cold therapy), stiffness and warming up before hand exercises (heat therapy), as well as support at night and with various daily activities. This is a very versatile product. I would recommend it to anyone while healing a broken wrist. Suggestion: indicate in the product description where you can buy an additional gel pack. I want two packs, one for cold use and oneโ€ฆ

Great item for medical supplies and gear

I needed this as an ice pack for my wrist that types on the computer too much (as it is now!). The packaging is of very good quality and freezes well. Even when frozen, it's flexible enough to wrap around my thumb. Since the pain is felt on the back of the thumb at the base, I use it by putting the pinky in the hole and wrapping it around the hand. I know it's not designed for that, but the great thing is that it's flexible enough that I can use it however I see fit. Good quality Velcro. I'veโ€ฆ

The gel pack leaked with normal use

It worked as advertised until the gel pack leaked. With normal use, nothing unusual has happened. I didn't even use it that much, I could use it for a few days when needed and then put it aside for months. I've only worn it about 20 or 30 times. Another issue when used hot is the way it wraps around my arm, which seems to put the most pressure on the side of my arm. When the compress is hot, that part of my arm gets hotter than the area I'm trying to treat and gets too hot, so I have to use itโ€ฆ

  • Not bad
