Picture quality is super. My vision is not very good and HDR is more than enough for me. The speaker is ok, but you need a real speaker. I'm not picky about sound but you're just getting a little greedy for your home theater and want to upgrade when the picture is this great. I don't know how the lights will work, but I have an extended warranty on my credit card, so I think I'll be fine. Compared to BENQ th585 (yes I bought both), both are 2020 versions. The difference in the pictures between them is noticeable. The BENQ is very user-friendly and I loved it when I first used it. But once I switch to compare image quality between the two, I can't go back. so sad to have to return the BENQ as it has a long warranty and apparently the best customer service (from a review). But for now I have to say that the OPTOMA 2020 version is better.
