I have to admit, based on the poor English in the product description and the vague five star one or two sentence reviews on this fan, I thought maybe it wasn't very good but wanted to take a risk and could always give it back. Although I'm happy with this fan and it has one cool feature that I haven't seen on any fan that doesn't mention it. Most fans, even expensive ones, only have low, medium and high settings, but this fan has 12 speed settings to set the speed you want. The shiny titanium fins look very nice as you can see in my uploaded photo. It can be very quiet, but I'm actually looking for a fan with a loud noise to hide the outside noise my current fan is making. I want to replace my fan just because of the backup battery this one has. It can keep running/charging while plugged in. So if the power goes out it stays on which is another plus I was looking for. A few years ago I suggested that fans should have knobs that could be tightened to lock the fan in place. In this case, maybe the engineers saw my idea? :) I hate that most plastic fans have a click angle adjustment that usually breaks, but this one allows you to position it at any angle and tighten the knob to hold it there. If I had any upgrade suggestions I'd like a USB power cord so I can charge it with any phone charger and maybe even on a higher setting to get more power even if the battery drains faster. I agree. I will also cover the screen with black tape for nighttime use. I do this with most electronics in bright light.
