Review on 🍶 Bodum 1508-10 Spare Carafe for French Press: 34oz Clear Replacement Glass by Jeff Strutz

Replacement carafe is much thinner and lighter than the carafe it replaces. My French Press is about 10 years old. The new replacement carafe slides in and out of the metal case so easily that I have to hold it while pouring my coffee. My guess is that the thinness of this new carafe makes it easier to break and the coffee also probably cools faster than a thicker, older carafe. Shame on Bodum for saving pennies on glass at our expense! (FYI: My old Bodum carafe weighed about 300g, the new one weighs about 250g, which is 17% lighter. To lower the quality, you can buy a fake.)
