2007 Volvo V50. Two flaws in the design of the atomizer. FIRST: The sprayer is aimed very low at the windshield. Without a built-in wedge seal, this is guided below the wiper arm when not in use! With the wedge seal in place and the car moving at 30 mph, the jet didn't even reach the center of the windshield. Second, the atomizer tip size - I mean orifice size - is larger than the standard used in most if not all OEM applications. The result of this is that the spray comes out with much less pressure. This will exacerbate the situation described above. I mean - less pressure means the spray radius is much shorter and weaker.
