First, it is just a case and a blank key. It is designed to be cut by any key cutter at any hardware store. Then you take the board out of your old key and put it in this one. Second, I use the car at least twice every day. The case design is very different from the OEM. With OEM, the key is built into the housing. This is simply inserted into the groove and fixed with a screw. For me, this key only lasted about 2 months before the key turned in the housing and fell out. It only cost $6 and the hardware store cut them for nothing as I bought multiple keys for other things at once but I think it was a waste of money.
