Used when replacing the valve cover gasket on my Toyota Tundra 4.7l. Several YouTube videos I've watched show how to lubricate each of the two corners toward the front of the engine where the gasket makes sharp turns, covering the mating surface of the two crescents that are at the rear of the engine. When I removed the old gasket (which may have been the original) and crescents, I saw that whoever installed them had also put something like an RTV in those places. Anyway, it worked for me - no more leaks!
