Review on iLuv i1166: A Versatile 8.9 Inch Portable Multimedia/DVD Player with iPod Dock by Charles Barney

I LOVE this item! Since upgrading to the latest iPod touch, I've been looking for a new docking system that is portable, easy to use and will fit all of my iPods. I have one for my classic but the latest iPod touch doesn't fit so I've searched for many months, read reviews etc. This one definitely fits my needs. Its advantages are that it is portable, supports the latest iPod touch and has a crystal clear screen. I bought a screen protector and haven't had the issues others have complained about. Maybe because I don't travel with him a lot, but he moves every day. I use it for the pool and for my exercise machine (which takes an iPod but shows movies sideways as the newest iPod can't auto switch to vertical playback) and for car rides. The only real downside is the instruction manual. , and the duration of the input recognition time and the inability to accept the latest version of High Def. SD cards, but that's a problem with many other devices as well. I'm constantly pressing buttons on the screen, maybe I'm spoiled by the latest technology, but maybe the next version will be a touchpad. Overall I am happy with this product for its price range.
