Non-reflective car headlights Taillights

Reflection only occurred in sunlight. I wrapped this glue around the fence post so that when driving into the driveway at night, the car's headlights would make the outermost fence post (at night) more visible. It didn't do anything at all. No reflection. Now it's just decorative tape, not meant to be reflective. $$$ down the drain.
