Are they tablecloths? Yes. Waterproof? Also yes, but only about 50% - eventually the water leaks through to the table. Are they gold? No- more like a very pale tan/beige. Do they look like the photos? Absolutely not.These were so sheer I should have just covered the tables with clear plastic wrap. I hope whatever tables you're using are PRISTINE because any flaws will be totally visible. The only saving grace was that the event I used these for didn't require bright lights, so nobody could see how ineffective the table cloths were. The darkness and table decor mercifully covered the horrible not-quite-gold plastic sheets of doom.So, 1 star for being *mostly* waterproof, and another star for technically being tablecloths (even though they're the worst examples of tablecloths I've ever had the misery of using. )
