Excellent product. I am building my own house right now and have installed over 200 rafter trusses and hangers for the joists and this has really saved me time. For the money it was worth it. Once you figure out how much pressure is required to properly insert the nails, you're already on the right track. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND purchasing air tool oil for these types of tools and adding just 2-3 drops before and after use. I have several air tools and they have worked flawlessly for years as I use the recommended oil for each tool. Don't waste time hand-hammering anything if you can avoid it. Work smart, not force. I've been a power line worker for 15 years and am well acquainted with the effects of manual labor on the body and this tool was a welcome addition to my toolbox. If you were just unlucky and ended up with a lemon, you won't regret this purchase. Highly recommended.
