This is exactly what we need for kayaking. We used a plastic bag for empty bottles but it filled up quickly and was a big problem. When it gets wet we end up throwing our empty bottles on the bottom of the kayak which ends up making a mess that needs to be cleaned up at the end of the trip. It's perfect, especially for our longer kayak trips. This is a large roomy bag and holds a lot more than I expected. It is lightweight and easy to attach with adjustable straps and carabiners. The top of the bag has a drawstring closure with nice thick thread/rope. It is very well constructed with high quality canvas or oxford material on the top and bottom of the bag. The middle of the bag is made of waterproof nylon mesh material, which is very easy to clean. All you have to do is empty the bag, spray it and then lay it out to dry. We LOVE this reusable bin liner and wish we had it sooner!
