I've decided to improve my original rating of 4 to 5 after utilizing the product for a little over 1.5 months. The pillow lives up to its claims, as it is quite soft and cooling to the touch. I felt neck ache whenever I turned my head to the side for many years. A visit to the neurologist yielded only short-term relief. After waking up, I realized the pain had started again. I finally caved and bought an orthopedic pillow after multiple failed tries to find a pillow that would work for me. After making the purchase, the next day I felt considerably better. Because the head and neck were in their natural positions during sleep, the tension in the neck subsided. I'm not suggesting that everyone with neck pain would benefit from an orthopedic pillow. Nonetheless, it's not a bad idea to give buying some thought. Remember, one third of our lives are spent asleep, thus it's important to prioritize your comfort and health. A medium for me and a large for a young man were the sizes I selected. There is barely an inch of difference between the two, so take your shoulder length into account while making your decision. I just placed an order for another identical pillow to give to my mom as a present.
