Perfect for my 2008 F150 with 5.4 liter Triton engine. The best way to primer -1. Run some oil through pump 2 before installing. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor to prevent the engine from starting3. Install a new oil filled oil filter just before starting the engine. Don't worry about spilling oil - most of it ends up in the oil pump.4. Crank the engine (no more than 30 seconds at a time) until the oil pressure rises. It took 10 seconds!5. Once pressure is built up, reconnect the crankshaft sensor and start the engine.
