The only reason I hesitated to buy these bulbs was because they looked like copper garlands because they looked so fragile in the pictures. Luckily I was wrong. Imagine the sophistication of the copper lamps with street string material that make up this amazing hybrid - I was so happy. The length/height is also perfect for a tiny bedroom in an apartment. In the photos I've attached you can see the length of the fixtures compared to my full size bed, a 6ft man, and also my small desk from IKEA (both furniture from IKEA so you might be able to look at theirs Go website to help with measurements? ) The light doesn't go straight, I had to tape them to the wall to keep them from curling. I had enough free space to glue it without looking like a ratchet, about 2-3 inches. These lights were a lot easier to work with than the brass strings I have. Also, make sure you have a wall box handy as it only comes with a USB end. Otherwise I recommend!
