The processing of this watch strap is of high quality. BUT the outer material ("canvas") is extremely fragile and not very durable. With normal and careful handling to put it on my watch it appears to be frayed on the outside of one side just 1/2 inch from the spring bar. This is a premium fashion item. And its longevity, or lack thereof, is simply unacceptable. Others here have voiced the same criticism and uploaded photos showing the same lack of duality I'm complaining about here. The strap was damaged by careful handling and I didn't even wear it! I will try to exchange it for a Barton watch strap made of a different material. You can save yourself all this hassle and frustration by simply not buying this Barton canvas watch strap.
