Poor strap design
In the first picture you'll notice the large gaps (highlighted) between the strap and the grommets, measuring just over an eighth of an inch. The second picture shows what is actually in the original Invicta strap in the lug area and embedded in the rubber. It's a hard plastic that adds strength in the eyelet area and keeps the spring bars at a fixed distance so the strap can be installed properly. The Invicta Venom CACA version of the strap does not have this feature.
