I bought it for my office/workplace because the air conditioning at my workplace fails in the summer. It works great in a small radius, but don't expect it to cool an entire room. For me, it effectively cooled the area 3-6 feet in front of it, so it's perfect for my desk. I live in a very dry climate so I believe this factor greatly influences the effectiveness of this product. In the best case. I bet it might not work as well in a wetter environment. I had to refill water very often during the day. Not that I mind, but definitely something to consider. It should be borne in mind that all 5 fog nozzles always work for me. The lights are very fun. I highly recommend it.
