I wasn't sure if the holder would fit the iPhone 7s. I also have an Otterbox protector that covers the phone. It's bulky and quite heavy. When the phone holder extends to its full width, my phone fits perfectly. I can pull it up a bit. I was afraid that the phone would fall. It stays in place, although if I rotate the mount or touch the screen hard, it falls out. I think if the mount itself was longer and wider a large phone would sit more reliably in the mount. There are no assembly instructions in the kit, but I followed what was posted online. It was very easy to assemble. It attaches to the vent very easily and stays in place. You can rotate the holder. I am very satisfied with this product. Well made, looks good and the price is right.
