Review on Jacquard Products JAC1648 Ounce Arabic by Summer Hendricks

Used as watercolor media. I'm still experimenting with it as a soft resist, gloss and even for my brushes. One of my precious round brushes fell out of the clip while drying overnight. It landed on top and bent over as it dried. The horror was real when I found the next day that my thin tip had dried out and curled up like this. So I used some of that in a fairly thick solution and gently smoothed the bristles of the brush, let it dry completely and was absolutely amazed when I dissolved the gum that the brush recovered beautifully. Every time the brush wears out or loses its shape, I go to this solution. When mixed with watercolor it gives a more comfortable silky texture and slows down drying. I'm sure there are other uses I have yet to discover, but so far I'm very happy I chose this brand. I haven't even had the chance to try other mediums like ink, but I'm looking forward to it!
