I use this to mix with my food coloring sprays for artwork. Mixes very well, no lumps. I use a tiny cup, some water and a toothpick to mix. The ratio is indicated in the instructions on the bottle. Small things have a big impact. I am very happy that this is a high quality product that is very easy to use. You can easily see when it's mixed well enough. The product itself is fine, but during transport the gum arabic powder has completely leaked from half the contents of the bottle . other items ordered. About a quarter of the contents spilled out of the second bottle. I think I've had enough to use up and I'm not going to the post office to return two bottles. I wish there was better packaging so if the bottles leak they could be put in a bag and maybe salvaged.

Used as watercolor media. I'm still experimenting with it as a soft resist, gloss and even for my brushes. One of my precious round brushes fell out of the clip while drying overnight. It landed on top and bent over as it dried. The horror was real when I found the next day that my thin tip had dried out and curled up like this.
