1. Clock works great, brews coffee when programmed.2. Makes great coffee!3. The carafe pours without spilling coffee on the counter!4. When you remove the carafe, coffee will not splash onto the heating element.5. The carafe fits comfortably in the car - no need to shake to make sure it's centered, it just sits where it's supposed to sit - perfect.6. The carafe is durable and not made out of "thin glass" - I'm not afraid of breaking it in the wash. What more do you want? One piece of advice I would give is to make sure the coffee filter is pressed evenly against the cup. sides of the basket before brewing. Water comes out of a small sprinkler at the top (not a straight jet in the middle). So if your filter isn't flat on the sides, water can catch it and bend it. This isn't a problem if you just run your finger along the edges and press the filter until brewed. The splash method makes the coffee better because all the coffee grounds are used, not just the middle one. You'll also save money on unused coffee grounds.
