I like clocks. Batteries for music are enough for the whole season. The watch's battery lasts much longer. The reason for the 4 stars (I would give 3.5) is because the faux marble pages (mostly an adhesive strip of metal) kept bouncing off the pages. Probably this will be fixed with some super glue or epoxy. I have ordered several of these watches for myself and as gifts and at least 2 have had such an issue. (Maybe more than two? One by me and a gift recipient. Maybe the others were too nice to mention.) I just keep smoothing it out. It stays for a while and reappears after a few weeks. I expected more from a Howard Miller product. (I have one of his grandfather's watches.) I love the watch, but the flapping metal bracelet is annoying.
