Works great - Tattoo Supplies

I was about to get my first tattoo and started watching tattoo care on YouTube and a lot of people recommended Saniderm. I ordered a few before my tattoo session to prepare for aftercare. My tattoo was slightly larger than a leaf so I was able to use some of the embellishments on the edge and slightly overlap if needed. It wasn't too much of a problem and it still stuck pretty well. I did it the first day and everything went well. On the second day I took it off and did the usual steps of cleaning and reapplying the tattoo to keep it going for a few more days. Some people report having trouble pulling back, but I did it very slowly in the shower and had no problems. It's like taking off a giant band-aid. Luckily I didn't have a plasma build up underneath like some people do. The instructions said they shouldn't overlap more than 1/2 inch, and in some places they did. For these spots the next day or so after it started peeling off a bit but only slightly and never to the point where air gets in. I used small scissors to cut off the pieces that were bulging at the overlap and had no further trouble with that. This was my first tattoo so I can't confirm how it differs from traditional methods but I can honestly say the process wasn't bad at all. It was on my arm and of course it was a bit difficult to sleep for the first two days, I wasn't itchy much and I was able to walk around without worrying too much about it and the shower was stress free. I took mine off on day 4 and let it heal naturally after that. It's been about three weeks since I got the tattoo and it's healed well and the color has held up well. Will definitely be using Saniderm again for future tattoos.
