I'm amazed at how well the rotating blade cuts. Effortlessly cuts through fabric, heavy leather, etc. Effortlessly cuts a straight line with a ruler or a free-form curved line. I prefer this to drag the blade along the edge of the ruler to cut a straight line, it's like using a pizza cutter but much, much sharper. Replacement impellers are cheap and plentiful. For safety reasons, the blade disc is pulled back to the side during transport or storage. Just push the lever forward and it lowers and locks into place for cutting. Push the button and the strong internal spring retracts it automatically. The blade and guard can be mounted on either side of the handle for ambidextrous use or simply for cutting from the other side. Unscrew the thumbwheel to remove and replace. Great tool.
