My bookcases (pictured) were just cleaned up. Since I culled so many, there was a lot of room left and standard bookends take up too much room. I was looking for bookends but something more stylish than the standard office grey ones. These fit the bill - as you can see, I had to lean books in order to keep them from falling over. With these bookends, I'm able to keep the books straight. I can't get a great picture but when you walk by the books, you can see the covers through the silhouettes. As you can see, I still need several more sets to complete the bookcases, but where I am using them, it looks so much better.The bookends are very sturdy and stylish and I would recommend them to anyone who needs keep their books in place.
