I bought this when I decided to add a third monitor to my home office. It offered a clamp table mount and a grommet mount. My table didn't have a mounting lip or grommet, so we mounted it directly to the table using an L-shaped clamp plate as a base. It is safe, stable and well balanced. All my monitors are 24" HP. No issues with spacing or alignment. A word of warning for gamers: the monitors are offset slightly. The average monitor is about 1cm taller than neighboring monitors. For my purposes, that's not a problem, but both of mine are Sons are gamers and that was the first thing they mentioned.
