This is a great laptop stand because it's so easy to disassemble and store! It's also all metal so very durable and basically holds your laptop well as long as you don't move the stand much after assembly. I use my laptop on my kneeling table with a stand and I tend to adjust things a bit and if I move the stand around a lot it's easy to pick up one of the little stands on the back and pull or slide it out of its socket . It's past the retainers in the front, which are good but fairly flat. I think they would be better if they were a little deeper. But if you're not fidgeting, it'll be great for you, and it's basically a great boner. I still like it very much.
