Had high hopes for the backlight and it does the job but I can't reset it and connect it to my 2G internet. There are router/configuration issues and after a few reboots of the device it stops working. So for me it's not exactly Wi-Fi, but I use a remote switch that I have to use to switch colors. I plugged it into an Alexa socket so I can turn on the light with my voice instead of having to search for the controls every time. It lights up and gets the job done, but don't rely on its WiFi/app capabilities. I have xfinity and it couldn't detect my 2G settings. I set up other Wi-Fi/IoT products at home but that didn't help.
