Review on Wheels Manufacturing Universal Adapter Shimano by Randy Holt

These BB30 adapters are incredibly high quality and precision engineered. They are also much lighter than the FSA adapters that came with my Boardman SLS. These adapters are characterized by the fact that they are inserted much deeper than the actual bearings. I think this helps further reduce backlash that can be caused by the connecting rod crank. For comparison I have attached a photo of my worn out original FSA adapters, you can see that they hardly penetrate the bearings. My bottom bracket was creaking and my bike wasn't even a year old as the FSA adapters and bearings wore out very quickly. I highly recommend this product! The fit is very good and tight both in the bearings and in the connecting rod itself.
