Review on Bormioli Rocco Selecta Collection Whiskey by Eric Temple

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for money, the best in Dining & Entertainment Restaurant

I bought this set in 2013 in the first apartment I shared with his partner. We both loved whiskey and wanted to drink it in style, but neither of us had a lot of money. We found this set for around $20 and are still using it over 8 years later. The decanter itself is the least used and only comes out when we have friends over for whiskey. The cork isn't perfect, but the carafe looks nice, so use it for the evening rather than store whiskey for a long time. The glasses, on the other hand, have been in use almost every day since they were bought and still work. A few scratches, sure, but I don't think they're broken. In the early years they were used as our drinking glasses and eventually evolved into the rock glasses they were designed for. They survived parties, weekly game nights, and general use and abuse. I never expected them to last as long as I bought them and I'm very impressed.

Pros
  • Made in Parma, Italy from fine sand and raw materials
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
