Very nicely packed in a box. The dough mixer and table scraper are made of high-quality, durable stainless steel. The batter mixer I received had rough edges on the underside of the blades that I was concerned would damage my mixing bowl. I emailed the company and Brian responded within hours of sending the email. He sent me a replacement. Although I didn't get a chance to use the dough mixer as intended and grind frozen chopped butter into flour, I tested it on a whole packet of butter that had just been taken out of the fridge. I managed to slide the dough mixer through a stick of cold butter. The blades did not bend or move apart when running through cold oil. The dough mixers I've seen in stores don't have most of their blades as strong as the Spring Chef dough mixer, and the blades will likely shift a bit when going through a packet of butter. The table scraper was kind of an afterthought. to buy as initially I didn't think I would need it. It's nice to use to transfer sliced foods from a cutting board. It also made it easier to transfer sliced kiwifruit from the cutting board. I also liked the rounded corners so you don't accidentally poke through the counter or cutting board when picking or scraping with it. It is also made very durable. This set is very well made and has great customer service to support the products. Also for products the company sends a pdf for other purposes even before I received the set. If you need a durable dough mixer and bench scraper, this is a great set to consider.
