Ideal for 3rd generation Tacoma. This is a plug and play wiring harness for adding a second radio or an amplifier to your factory radio. Worked great BUT I had to use a tiny electronics screwdriver to pry a tiny tab on one of the wiring harnesses to pry that single wire out of the wad of plastic housing on the factory radio wiring harness because I didn't want to slide the factory wiring into the new wiring harness. The new wiring harness didn't have that single wire, and I wanted to make sure everything non-audio related was connected, just like the factory wiring harness. Metra may need to re-evaluate the wiring at this connector as it would be ideal if they added this wire to the harness.
