Review on 🚴 MAXXIS Dissector Wide Trail 3C/EXO/TR Tire Review: MaxxTerra/EXO/3C 27.5x2.4 - Expert Insights & Performance Analysis by Rick Howlett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent rear tires but the front tires are interesting too!

Great trail/enduro rear tire but you already knew that. Grip is better than the Aggressor and it seems to roll and accelerate a little better. I also enjoyed riding the Dissector on my enduro rig up front to practice cornering. While the DHF and Assegai up front have the traction you need, they can sometimes make you lazy in corners because they are so strong (the Assegai in particular). As you move the Dissector forward, you need to improve your cornering skills. It's not an XC tire at all - the side lugs are still pretty chunky - but it's a lot lighter than the DHF. It rolls just like the Bontrager XR4, but with significantly more traction under braking and cornering.
