I purchased this case many months ago. There are a lot of great things going for it, and some really annoying things as well. Summary: I would purchase it again, but really wish some of these annoyances would be addressed.1. GOOD - The 360 swivel/hinge and overall protection is outstanding. I absolutely love this, way more than I expected to. I turn it around all of the time, it holds well, etc.2. GOOD - The keyboard itself feels really nice and types well. The key spacing is really good. I’m honestly not sure there is a better keyboard for the iPad.3. MOSTLY GOOD - Keyboard "Function Keys”. I love that these control sound levels, screen brightness, etc. I would have preferred an escape key instead of the "home button”, but it doesn’t bother me too much.4. OK - The trackpad is mediocre. I really don’t use it like I thought I would (I like spreadsheets, so I figured this would be useful). It’s annoying that it requires you to turn on assistance settings which then pop up the target looking menu button on screen. While you can have this turn off when the keyboard is connected, it pops back up on screen whenever the keyboard goes to sleep, which is annoyingly all of the time. The other good news is that you can lock out the trackpad via a button on the bottom right of the keyboard.5. BAD - "Time Out” / Sleep. This is super annoying - the keyboard goes to sleep after a few minutes (not exactly sure how long, but never long enough). I believe this is to save its battery, but it becomes really annoying to wake it back up all of the time (partly because of the next annoyances).6. BAD - Upon waking up, the keyboard often cycles through the color backlight choices (though not always, I haven’t quite figured out why). It’s really annoying seeing a rainbow of colors. IF it didn’t go to sleep so often, this would bother me less, but there is no way to change how long before it times out (which seems to be 5-10minutes, though I haven’t timed it).7. BAD - In order to wake up you have to push a key and wait. It takes a few seconds to wake up, which feels like an eternity. And I haven’t quite figured out if it registers the first, second, or third keystroke after waking up - whatever it is, I feel the need to either keep pushing keys, or going back and deleting letters that were unintentional. This hasn’t been a huge deal for me; but I could see it becoming a huge problem for certain people and certain apps.
