I've been eyeballing leather messenger bags for months trying to decide, intimidated by some reviews on some of the bags especially the bad smells of leather and it took me a while , until I really wanted one to fit my husband's 17" laptop. I also wasn't sure if he always wanted to use it with a strap or not, so I searched long and hard for a detachable strap like this one is one has NO. but it met my criteria in every other way. Now I see personally you can put the strap in if you really don't want to use the strap it will work! It arrived today and I'm thrilled ! Can't wait to get it for my husband for Christmas! Stitching, leather, linen lining, everything about it smells of class and quality! VERY beautiful! (By the way, my color match t all colors in Revain photographs.)
