Love the striped pattern on both sides. They are 30 x 60 inches, which is enough to completely envelop me after I get out of the gym shower. It's also great for my 3 year old because it covers him from head to knees or below but doesn't drag on the wet floor. They don't seem to absorb because it's a thin thick fabric (like suede) but they probably absorb as much as my regular towels if not more. They also dry quickly and don't get very heavy when wet. We used them on a sugar sand beach. When wet, the sand still shakes off fairly well, but is somewhat sticky (which is to be expected). When the towel dries, the sand comes off immediately. Each comes with a drawstring pouch, which comes in handy when you're packing it in your gym bag or suitcase. If you want a towel to cover the sun lounger by the pool, it will be too small for you. They are perfect for my needs.
