I bought 2 pairs of these relatively inexpensive overshoes specifically for gravel riding. I did my usual step of wrapping a layer of tape around the section covering the bottom of the shoe, which extends the lifespan as this is an area that walking can damage. They proved to be quite durable, surviving two months of use. They keep my feet warm and my shoes reasonably clean and dry, although water can seep into the shoes through the open bottom. As such, it's still best to wear a waterproof sock if you intend to cross a creek on your journey.
