Review on Efficient Filtration with XINYOU XY-2893 10 Layer Sponge Biochemical Water Corner Filter by Beth Finlinson

I love these filters. I've used all kinds of filters created, these are the best. Sponge filters trap nitrifying bacteria better than ceramics, gaskets, fabrics and threads. You simply clean them one by one once a month with a regular water change. I have used them in freshwater aquariums with discus and flowerhorn, rearing young fish and saltwater. I've been using the same sponge filter in my fry tank for at least 5 years and have never had any fluctuations in water quality, ZERO with proper care compared to my other tanks where I have lint canisters, hangons, wet/dryers and other high quality equipment that cost me lots of money to have. Lately I've gotten fed up with the instability and bought a few more and threw away the rest. My water is crystal clear and fish poop collects right in front of each sponge and very easy with a micro mesh, you scoop it up right away and clean it with a net in the sink. Buy this and throw away those crappy canisters and backpacks!
