cool, works great, must have!

Simply put, this little thing is cool! It does everything it promises and does it surprisingly well. I bought this for cycling and since my bike already had a bike computer I can compare the results of the two (speed, distance, time) for accuracy. On a short 8 mile trip they were within 3% in speed and distance, right on time. Pretty good, I say. But while the bike computer is ready when I've finished my ride, the Garmin is just getting started. Now comes the fun part - plug it into your computer, load up the trip and, wow, that's it - a very accurate map of where I've been and the ability to graph heart rate, speed and elevation versus time or distance. . Elegant! I haven't had the HRM issues that some people talk about even though I've only had them for a week. I will post here if problems arise. Only cons so far: - GPS is a little slow to pick up - it can take a minute which is annoying reading to start a journey. - The map in the program of the training center is very primitive - it only shows the main streets and places. something off. However, you can buy other, more detailed mapping programs and import your history into them to see your workout on an accurate map. After reading many reviews, I intend to buy the Maptech Colorado Topo - it seems to be the best, with many features. works perfectly.
