cool, works great, must have!

Simply put, this little thing is cool! It does everything it promises and does it surprisingly well. I bought this for cycling and since my bike already had a bike computer I can compare the results of the two (speed, distance, time) for accuracy. On a short 8 mile trip they were within 3% in speed and distance, right on time. Pretty good, I say. But while the bike computer is ready when I've finished my ride, the Garmin is just getting started. Now comes the fun part - plug it into yourโ€ฆ

Fantastic product

I really like this product! I'm not a runner, but sometimes I run. The only downside to this product that I noticed is that the heart monitor doesn't read accurately when running. I believe it comes from the movement of running (and/or jumping). It works great when I'm walking/biking/rowing etc (non-jumping activities). The only thing I've learned from trying to get a GPS fix is to hold it in one spot without moving it until it gets a fix. I've had it for a few months and I just love it. I also

This is the cornerstone of my workout tracking.

I bought it in 2006, still works very well. locations into a GPX file and upload it to Google Earth or another mapping system. Lots of storage. I have never lost a workout on the device because it has enough memory to store workouts back to 2006. - Ability to export workouts to a new Garmin device THEN sync to Garmin Workout Center to view your workout history over the years. I like it very much - Virtual Partner! I love this feature. Essentially, set time and distance goals, and the screenโ€ฆ
