Durable cast iron steel; Precision Product Design

I received these plaster of paris extension rings for a pair of control switches which have become unwieldy due to the baffles and wire nuts used in a traditional electrical box. They are amazing! I wish they would have sold them here in Mexico. The locking mechanism (rear) in these boxes accepts #6 screws. You don't screw the back in, but snap them in place with screws and then tighten. Very convenient and easy to do. On the mounting side (front) where the switches are located, there is a #6-32 thread on the ring where screws of the same size can be used. I strongly recommend using them. You can calculate how many wires will fit in switch boxes, but wire nuts, and especially electrical connectors, can skew the calculations and you may need more space in the electrical load (switches, outlets, lamps) than planned. Good product. Will be getting more of these in bulk.
