To be honest I can't say whether it works for my cat. It's usually pretty cold at home but I bought it for a trip and vacation and didn't really enjoy the first trip when it hid in the floor of my car. They make oils in the collar. expand, say, on the neck, and my whole cat smells sweet. Better than a bath would ever do for him. Has a kind of earthy/pine vibe at times. The collar itself is easy to use, easy to cut and very reliable. Just me. Worries? This can pose a choking hazard if the cat gets stuck and the collar is too loose or accidentally too tight.
