Three tier shelving is a great thing. Metal brackets are uniform and snugly match the "wooden" shelves. The shelves themselves are a nice hue but there were scratches/nicks on them (some on just one side) that forced them to reveal the less worn side from above. The boards were also NOT entirely flat and had a slight bowl shape, which also forces you to choose which side to place (bowl down, crown up) when viewed from above, in the hope that the weight of those placed on top Objects helps flatten them. Time. "Wood" shelves are very light and look like they are made of balsa wood and/or hollow. If you attach them to the brackets with short screws, you must remember NOT to overtighten them as they will EASILY fall off. They come with extra screws and anchors for different wall types (brick, drywall, stud wall) but the assembly instructions are NOT very helpful (a beginner will be a bit confused). Overall they look good in our bathroom. with multiple decorative items on each shelf.
