These shelves are great! Extremely light weight. So far they've held up well. I live in an apartment so couldn't use screws to hang them, but because they're so light they hold them up great (I wouldn't burden them with anything heavy if that's your choice).

I love these shelves but if you want heavy decorations choose something else. As a bright decoration in my living room, it has served its purpose. It seems that the wood would easily splinter if screws were put into it. I used Target fingernails for assembly.

Cheap wood. Not sharpened properly. It looks like it has just been painted and the color has seeped into the wood. If I spill water, it gets soaked. The wood is rough, not smooth at all. Haven't installed it yet but I'm sure it will hold some weight. To be honest I feel like sanding it down even if it means scraping the paint off. Otherwise I couldn't wipe the dust off properly.

These shelves fit perfectly in my son's space room. I love that you can mount the brackets either above or below the shelves. I think that makes them more versatile for different spaces. They are very light and yet very durable. They also came with excellent drywall anchors and bolts to securely attach the shelves to the walls. I am thrilled and would highly recommend them to everyone!

So since the Covid hit, I've noticed how disorganized I am in my small apartment. I have a large open space on the wall above my sink and almost no countertop space. They send you two sets of screws - short ones to attach the plate to the brackets and long ones to attach the brackets to the wall. short screws are longer than the thickness of the panel. After I finally installed the shelf everything was fine. They look sharp and the brackets are fine. You work for what I had in mind. At the same time, the equipment for installing drywall was completely useless. After two tries the drywall anchors just twisted and broke off in the hole, they had to be drilled out, I used my own anchors with no problem. Three tier shelving is a great thing. Metal brackets are uniform and snugly match the "wooden" shelves. The shelves themselves are a nice hue but there were scratches/nicks on them (some on just one side) that forced them to reveal the less worn side from above.
