Works, but wobbles a bit.

Bought for a cat that kept climbing on the window air conditioner; We decided to give her a little help as she kept using the curtains. So there really doesn't seem to be a way to create a solid stable surface between floor and ceiling; For example, if placed in the middle of a room, it will vibrate. Since we placed it next to a wall, it seems a little more stable, but it still wobbles a bit when the cat climbs on it. Anyway, the cat loves it. She immediately claimed it as her own and started climbing up and down, rolling on all the platforms and clawing at the bars like crazy. When we got home late at night, she was upstairs. I think you can say that a slight wobble mimics climbing on a branch that can move a little while climbing. In general, this is a success. However, if it is placed in the middle of the room, there is a chance that a hit from above will cause it to fall to the ground. If your roof is the wrong height, you may need a hacksaw to make adjustments. to this top part, which is basically a PVC tube that is inserted into a loaded column. UPDATE: 8/18/21 Okay, I take it back. This thing is pretty unstable no matter what you do. Now it flexes quite a bit at the "joints" and I don't know how to fix it. The cat still loves it.
