Best Do Not Buy From Spare Tire Brackets

This item was installed by a professional and they were unable to raise the lift because a mechanism internally failed. Cheap quality.

poor quality (probably made in China). broke on the first attempt to lift the spare wheel. Have Dorman which I know is made in China but better quality.

My truck immediately went up in price.

I bought a 2007 GMC and the spare tire was in the back of the truck for some reason. When I was able to easily replace a salt-damaged spare wheel jack, my truck immediately went up in value.

Cheap junk: External accessories

Not recommended. waste of my money. Should have spent the extra money on the Dorman brand. It will not slide up or down from the packaging. I got it on the air the next day because I was out of town and couldn't use it because it wasn't working at all. It comes with the cord fully extended and it doesn't retract no matter what I do.

Not as advertised but rubbish nonetheless

Warning this will NOT fit all years of manufacture as advertised. The hanger is too small for the center hole in my 01 rim. I was in a really tight spot so I made an adapter to make up the difference. Not very lucky to have a round log, but oh well, I thought. I wanted to spin the hoop, and with no stress on the cable, it just popped. There is no elevator. I pull it a little with my hand and the same. There is no elevator. Complete garbage. Would not recommend this product.

Only suitable for 1.5 applications. Useless.

This device was installed in 2019. No problem. After 1.5 years I got my first apartment. Got the spare tire on with no problems and put the punctured tire back on with no problems. I fixed the punctured tire and started fitting the spare tire ready for the next flat tire that might come my way. Then this block failed. It lowered the cable with no problem, but didn't raise it at all. The lift just wanted to moor and burst at every turn. A waste of money, but returning the money or replacing it…
