This tablecloth is very pretty! Of course, this is a more attractive choice for families than thick vinyl fabrics. But there are a few things to watch out for: It's definitely not waterproof. I would say waterproof. If you spill a cup of water on it, it will stick together and easy to clean. But if you don't dry it quickly, it will soak into the fabric. It does not form a thermal barrier. You still need to use coasters or potholders to protect the table. (I believe most tablecloths still require the use of a stand, but just in case.) It's stain resistant! I pull this tablecloth out to guests and we spilled hot chocolate, red wine, spaghetti sauce and so on on the tablecloth and it easily washes out when washing. Also, the drawing doesn't match. In the end, I trimmed the edges, trimmed the fabric, and rehemmed it to better fit my table.
