I wasn't sure what coating this canopy would actually cover, but it covers a decent amount. Although it partially covers my thighs, it leaves my knees and lower part exposed. However, if I wanted everything closed, I would buy a chair with a longer canopy. Set up is very easy and the dome has a locking feature to keep it open during use. The chair is really comfortable to sit in and I admit I fell asleep in it. The drink holder holds cups, glasses and bottles. There is a zippered pocket on the left side that fits my phone with battery and still has room. What I thought was cool was the pocket sewn to the right side of the chair. Although I haven't used it, it's a really nice feature if I want it. This chair is great for camping and will definitely be used a lot more in warm weather.
